More people are starting to take notice of massive pyramids all over China and wondering about the ancient culture that must have erected them. A series of ancient mummies were discovered in present-day Xinjiang, China, which date from 1800 BC, likely Tocharians.

The Samurai, Japan’s warrior class, have been one of the most celebrated groups of people in modern pop culture. Numerous movies, TV shows, and video games have been made, picturing them in a mythical, mysterious, and noble manner. Samurai were supposed to lead their lives according to the ethic code of Bushido ("the way of the warrior"). Strongly Confucian in nature, Bushido stressed concepts such as loyalty, self discipline and respectful, ethical behavior. Many samurai were also drawn to the teachings and practices of Zen Buddhism.
