Socially constructed human morality lacks universal consensus, in fact moral and ethical systems vary considerably over time and place. Different societies and subcultures within societies often disagree as to what actions are ethical or unethical. What is considered as moral or immoral behaviour may differ greatly from one religion or philosophy to another. Individuals themselves can have widely differing opinions and priorities regarding ethics and morality.
